EXCEPTIONAL MEASURES FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL SITUATION

Because the health of our guests and employees is our priority, we have reinvented the way we offer our service and provide warm hospitality with maximum security. We have implemented protocols and technology adapted to the new health context, as detailed herewith:

Risk prevention plan

Our staff is trained and follows a risk prevention plan in accordance with the recommendations of the Spanish Ministries of Health and Tourism. All of them wear appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE) and have their temperature checked when they enter their respective work shifts.

Our guests are also invited to wear a mask in the common areas, maintain the recommended distances and make continuous use of the hydroalcoholic gel dispensers. Our amenities include masks for both adults and children, as well as hydroalcoholic gel.

Arrival at Villa Magalean

At all entrances to the hotel, disinfectant mats are available for visitors as well as  hydroalcoholic gel dispensers. We also offer a disinfection service of the luggage on arrival. Wearing a mask in the common areas of the hotel is mandatory. Only hotel guests have access to the hotel reception. Outside guests of the spa and restaurant have separate entrances.

To speed up the welcome process, we request in advance all the necessary information to complement client’s data file.

The new check-in times are at 17:00 and check-out is at 12:00. Our cleaning protocols require more time and attention. In case of requesting an early arrival, our guests can leave their bags at the reception and enjoy our restaurant or our terrace.

Stay at Villa Magalean

Each day, our guests are kindly required to reserve in advance their breakfast time, room cleaning time, their table at the Mahasti restaurant and their treatments at the Henriette Spa.

This helps organize their stay with full serenity, limiting crowding in the common areas and respecting the recommended safety distances between all.

Cleaning service at Villa Magalean

A very high level of cleanliness has always been maintained at Villa Magalean. However, our cleaning protocols have been reinforced to ensure a systematic disinfection of all surfaces which our guests may be in contact, with a specific attention to critical points such as door handles, railings and switches.

We have reviewed the decoration and organisation of each room to facilitate disinfection. We have decided to digitize all our information now available on a Tablet as well as to propose a press service exclusively on-line. If you feel more comfortable with a paper version, we will be happy to prepare a personal version for you.

All surfaces are treated with disinfectant products recommended by the Ministry of Health. Mattresses, pillows, curtains and sofa are disinfected by dry steam at 140°. Bedding and towels are washed at a temperature above 60°. The rooms are ventilated daily, the air-conditioning is regularly checked and regulated to 23 degrees minimum. Before any new arrival, we use an air purifier with an exclusive state-of-the-art technology PXCELL for a complete disinfection of the rooms.

The Mahasti Restaurant

Our tables are spaced according to recommendations. The tablecloths are systematically changed and washed at more than 60°, the surfaces are also disinfected. The restaurant is equipped with an air purifier with HEPA filters, which ensures a systematic decontamination of the air during the service time. Reservations are staggered by 15 minutes to avoid crowding at the restaurant reception. The menus are of a single use.

Our kitchen team applies a specific risk prevention plan.

The Henriette Spa

Access to Spa Henriette is by reservation only. Our guests must wear a mask even during the treatment, except in the case of a facial treatment. Guests from outside the hotel have a separate entrance and must wear, in addition to a mask, shoe covers to access the cabins.The capacity of the spa circuit is a maximum of two people.

The cabins and the spa circuit are disinfected after each appointment.
